Legacy XL Loader and Backhoe demo
I don’t have the shot framed correctly, but you can see all the work done. I first show the full lift/rollback times at three engine speeds: idle, 2500 (typical use for me), and full throttle. An overflowing bucket of dirt will not raise to the top, but I can move overflowing buckets all day long. The loader runs off the transmission pump, and could be stronger. The backhoe has its own pump (off the mid PTO), and has gobs of power. Loader pressure relief is 1000psi, the backhoe relief if 1960psi.

Looking to get a PTO driven hydraulic pump to run a 3pt backhoe on my tractor. How do I go about figuring out what size I need. The backhoe has fairly large cylinders on it.
